My name is Cheryl, I am a mother of 4 and have 4 grandchildren.
In 2005 my son Daniel was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He was 2 years old and had so much to live for. It was my job to keep him safe.
After surgery, 18 months of chemotheropy and 6 weeks of radiotheropy, we finally got the all clear. His treatment had finished and now I found I had time for a hobby. I've always been creative and open to a challenge, so when the opportunity arose to start lampworking I jumped at it.
In 2016, my soul sister Helen, asked if I could make her a bead containing her fathers ashes. I was worried at first as it was a huge responsibility but I agreed to try.
The "Eternity Bead" was born
and my life was about to change forever.
I could finally help those who were less fortunate than I and hopefully give them comfort while dealing with the loss of a loved one, keeping them Close To Your Heart.
Flash forward to 2023....
Sadly Eternity Beads had to close but that wasnt going to hold me back!!!
I was determined, stronger than ever, and ready to start again.
With the help and support of family, friends, and previous retailers
I have now moved towards celebrating all the "Special Memories" you hold
"Close To Your Heart ".
Not only do I offer cremation ashes beads, but also sand from a beach wedding or memorable holiday. These too are the memories we hold dearly and should be remembered.
